Bhakti Shringapure is the founder of the Radical Books Collective and founder and editor-in-chief of Warscapes, an independent online magazine with a focus on current conflicts across the world, publishing fiction, nonfiction, poetry, interviews, reviews, photo-essays and retrospectives of war literature.

She has also authored Cold War Assemblages: Decolonization To Digital and co-translated Kaveena, a novel by Senegalese writer Boubacar Boris Diop. Her edited works include Literary Sudans: An Anthology Of Literature From Sudan And South Sudan and Imagine Africa: Volume 3. Her work has appeared in The Guardian, The Funambulist, Los Angeles Review of Books, Literary Hub, and Africa Is A Country. 

Shringarpure holds a BA degree in literature from Bard College and a PhD in Comparative Literature from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
