Radical Books Collective Hosting partner of the 2026 Doek Literary Festival.

Radical Books Collective builds communities and strengthens solidarities through conversations about books, culture, and politics. It organises and publishes vital political and cultural conversations though book clubs, newsletters, podcasts, and live events.

For the last five years, it has brought together a community of readers from across the world to discuss bold and politically progressive books and build solidarities. Corporatised, profit-oriented publishing structures make it harder for readers to find books and writers that do not fit the mainstream awards, praise, and review criteria. Accordingly, Radical Books Collective curates an alternative, politically charged canon through a collective that includes publishers, bookstores, authors, and book lovers everywhere.
